Cook the South 500 prophecies

Darlington Raceway will host NASCAR’s Cup Series playoffs for Sunday’s Cook Eat Outhern Thorne 500 at 6:00 p.m. ET. Which drivers offer some of the best odds for bookmakers?

Darlington is one of two new tracks from the first round of this year’s playoffs joining the Bristol Motor Speedway, which will host the elimination race in two weeks.

“The first rounds are the tried and true NASCAR tracks you’ve tried. Darlington, Sath Carolina – a difficult track, 500 miles, one of the most historic events in all sports, and then you throw it there in Richmond, which once again Is back. More traditional short track beats and smaller beats and Bristol beats, “he said. Said Brad Keslowski, Which won the South 500 in 2018. “This is a powerful first round round of tracks, which I think should have been in the playoffs from day one, but we shouldn’t be in the past. The future and I’m glad they’re in now.”

As reports, this is the sixth consecutive year for Darlington’s “Famous Throwback Weekend”, in which most cars in the 367-lap race are playing special paint schemes to honor the history of the game.

Prepare South 500 betting predictions: bet on three in Darlington

Kevin Harwick (11/4)

Harwick is co-sponsored with Danny Hamlin to win in Darlington today but he still offers great value despite being one of the favorites. He has been the best in Darlington with a valid driver rating of 112.8. In fact, since 2017, Harwick has been in the top 10 of all five of his runs at Darlington, including four top-5 finals and one win. Coming from 8th position today, he should run close to the whole front and give you a chance to take cash at 11/4.

Brad Keslowski (9/1)

With Keselovsky winning the 2018 South 500, these are great challenges for a driver who must find himself near the front at some point today. Among the active drivers taking part in today’s race, Kaselovsky has a driver’s rating of 106.9 in his last five races in Darlington. Harwick and Hamlin have dominated the regular season but Kaselovsky is third in this year’s playoffs and feels he is flying off the radar.

Live Long Shot: Eric Jones (25/1)

Before you cross your card to Jones because of his starting position (he will start 30th), know that Jones has not been out of the top 10 in Darlington in his entire career. Yes, he has some work to do to move from 30th to first place, but he likes this track with the third best driver rating of 106.6 out of the current active drivers in Darlington. Even if you don’t take Jones straight to win, look at his difficulty when it comes to your book’s top-10, top-5 or driver vs. driver matchup because he can be surprising.
